Ms Sim currently sits on the boards of NTUC Income and Stashaway as an Independent Director. Ms Sim is also a Senior Advisor at Singapore Consultancy, a business consultancy firm in the banking and finance industry.
Ms Sim has more than a decade of experience in C-suite positions at major US banks. She was the Regional COO and CEO of Private Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley Asia International Limited (2010-2016) and sat on its board as an Executive Director.
Before Morgan Stanley, she spent 12 years with JPMorgan Private Bank Asia, serving in various leadership positions including Managing Director, Regional CFO, and Head of Business Risk Management. Prior to JP Morgan, Ms Sim was an Interest Risk Controller at UBS Investment Bank. She spent her initial career with Price Waterhouse Coopers, specializing in the audit of financial institutions.
Aside from her Board appointment at YWCA, Ms Sim has served as Chairperson of the YWCA Fort Canning Committee (2019- present), and Vice-Chairperson of the Community Services & Programmes Committee (2018-2021), among other active committee roles. She has also been representing YWCA at the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations since 2019.

Carol is Chief Financial Officer at ValueMax Group Ltd. She has more than 30 years of experience in the field of corporate finance, finance and accounting and has served in senior management roles in various industries.
Carol is currently Chairperson of the Finance & Investment Committee. She has also served as Vice-Chairperson of YWCA Fort Canning Committee (2018-2021) and as a member of several committees.
Carol holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Finance from the University of Western Australia. She is a member of CPA Australia and a CFA® Charterholder.

Sharon is an Audit Partner at Ernst & Young, one of the largest global accounting firms, and has more than 16 years of experience with the firm. She is also a member of the Corporate Finance Committee of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
Sharon first joined YWCA in 2019 as a Member of the Finance & Investment Committee. In 2020, she was appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Finance & Investment Committee, a position which she continues to hold. In 2022, she was co-opted to the Board of Directors of YWCA and joined the YWCA Fort Canning Committee as a Member.
Sharon is a Chartered Accountant of ISCA, and a Certified Public Accountant of CPA Australia. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) degree from the University of Melbourne.

Janet is the Senior Regional Compensation & Benefits Advisor at Hilton International Asia Pacific Pte Ltd . She has extensive experience in Human Resources Management and has served in various regional leadership roles at major corporations including Deutsche Bank, DBS, and Chevron.
Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from the National University of Singapore as well as Diplomas in Investment and Personnel Management.
In addition to her Board appointment, Janet has been Chairperson of the Human Resources & Administration Committee since 2019 and a member since 2016. She has also served with the Nominations Committee (2020-2021) and Executive Committee (2021-2022).

Philomena is a Style Coach and the founder of Impressions Style Coaching, a company which helps individuals create their personal brands. She is also Executive Director of Image Mission Ltd, a charity that helps women secure employment to achieve economic independence.
Prior to her current role, Philomena has more than a decade of experience as a Brand and Marketing Professional in the hospitality industry. She was previously Vice President of Brand and Marketing at The Ascott Limited (2007-2017), overseeing all Ascott brands worldwide, and Director of Brand Marketing at Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts.
In addition to her Board appointment, Philomena currently serves in various committee roles, including Vice-Chairperson of YWCA Fort Canning Committee (2021 to present).
She holds a Bachelor of Business in Public Relations and Marketing from the Queensland University of Technology.

Lynette runs Red Bug Communications Ltd, a public relations consultancy firm that she set up in 2009. She has 20 years of experience with helping organisations communicate their services and products well, and enjoys contributing to YWCA in this context.
Besides her Board appointment at YWCA, Lynette is also Chairperson of the Corporate Communications Committee and has served in other roles in the Nominations and Community Services & Programmes Committees.

Ms Tan is a practising lawyer by profession and is currently Managing Partner at her own law firm, K L Tan & Associates, specialising in Intellectual Property law.
Ms Tan is an active volunteer who has given much of her time to the YWCA. In addition to her board appointments, she has taken up numerous leadership positions, serving as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson at numerous committees since 1980.
As President, she has led several impactful initiatives that have since remained as YWCA’s core programmes, such as Meals-on-Wheels, YWCA Kids’ Club (now known as Kids’ Weekday Care), and YWCA House. She was also instrumental in spearheading the setting up of the Integration Programme for Children with special needs at YWCA Preschool and oversaw the YWCA Hostel redevelopment project at Fort Canning. In addition, Ms Tan’s passion for weaving led her to found the YWCA Weaving Studio and YWCA Weaving Programme in 2019, which provides flexible employment opportunities for disadvantaged women.
Aside from volunteering with YWCA, Ms Tan also serves as Council Member of the Institute of Singapore Trade Mark Agents and Council Member of ASEAN Intellectual Property Association. Prior to this she was also Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Association of Women Lawyers (1980-1984) and was a Council member of the Girl Guides of Singapore assisting in the amendment of its Constitution.
Ms Tan also served as President of other organisations including Asian Patent Attorneys Association Singapore Group (2003-2006), the Licensing Executives Society of Singapore (2005-2006), and Asean Intellectual Property Association (2007-2008).
Ms Tan was conferred the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2005. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences and a Barrister-at-Law (London).

Ms Tsoi is a retired urban planner from the Urban Redevelopment Authority, Singapore.
In her 30 years of service to the YWCA, Ms Tsoi has held various positions on the Board and has been Chairperson of numerous committees. She also represented YWCA at the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations from 2010 to 2012.
During her 20-year tenure as chairman of the Fort Canning Lodge Committee (renamed the YWCA Fort Canning Committee in 2020), the Fort Canning Lodge cleared the development bank loan with its revenue and went on to become a major revenue centre to support our community services programmes.
Her leadership at the Building Committee was also instrumental to the success of two major renovation projects at YWCA Fort Canning, thereby keeping it up to date and enhancing its attractiveness to patrons.
Ms Tsoi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, a Master of Philosophy in Town Planning, and a Graduate Certificate in Counselling.

Ms Leong has over 45 years of experience in Internal Audit and Operations Management in Citibank N.A. and United Overseas Bank before retiring in 2019. Subsequently, she was engaged as a consultant by Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) to project manage the development of the Trade Finance Registry system which was launched successfully.
Ms Leong holds a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from Brunel University in the UK. She has since retired from ABS and is now actively travelling the world. She worships at Covenant Community Methodist Church and is Vice Chairperson cum Treasurer to the Seniors Ministry.
She has two grown up sons and is a grandmother with seven grandchildren.
Her vision for her role as Audit and Risk Management Committee Chair is to share her experience as an Internal Auditor and Operation Management Executive to bring risk management principles and processes to YWCA.

Celestine is Senior Director responsible for venture building, incubation and venture investments at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. She oversees the university incubator and collaborates with both local and global ecosystem players. She had first qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and cut her teeth working with corporates across different industry sectors to tap the capital markets as an investment banker at UBS and DBS.
She then joined the Monetary Authority of Singapore when it set up a promotion arm to develop Singapore’s financial sector. After spearheading the capital markets and treasury development policy and promotion initiatives, she moved internally to manage the longer-term portion of the official foreign reserves. She subsequently headed the Asia business and was concurrently the country head of the Singapore office of Principal Financial.
Celestine serves on the investment committees of Assisi Hospice and the Council of World Mission.

Ms Sandra Leong has over 20 years of leadership experience across the social services, healthcare, tourism, and government sectors. She has led organisations such as Girl Guides Singapore, Breast Cancer Foundation and VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer, where she spearheaded transformative programmes for children, youths, girls, women and communities. Before joining YWCA, she served as CEO of EQUAL-ARK Singapore.
Previously at the Singapore Tourism Board, she worked on national projects including the Integrated Resorts and hotel policy. She also headed the Australia and New Zealand markets as Area Director.
Sandra worships at the Church of St. Ignatius and serves in its Audio-Visual Ministry, Choir, and Praying Parents Group. She also volunteers with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s Milk and Diaper Programme.
A recipient of the STB Mid-Term Scholarship and NCSS Executive Development Programme, she is an alumna of Harvard Business School’s Non-Profit Management Programme, and Fellow of the Singapore International Foundation ASEAN Fellowship. She has also participated in the NCSS Sun Ray Scheme and NCSS 40-under-40 Programme. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) from the National University of Singapore and is a published co-author in tourism research.
She is a daughter of God, wife to a very supportive husband and mum to two boys – a teen and a tween.
