Ms Sim currently sits on the boards of NTUC Income and Stashaway as an Independent Director. Ms Sim is also a Senior Advisor at Singapore Consultancy, a business consultancy firm in the banking and finance industry.
Ms Sim has more than a decade of experience in C-suite positions at major US banks. She was the Regional COO and CEO of Private Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley Asia International Limited (2010-2016) and sat on its board as an Executive Director.
Before Morgan Stanley, she spent 12 years with JPMorgan Private Bank Asia, serving in various leadership positions including Managing Director, Regional CFO, and Head of Business Risk Management. Prior to JP Morgan, Ms Sim was an Interest Risk Controller at UBS Investment Bank. She spent her initial career with Price Waterhouse Coopers, specializing in the audit of financial institutions.

Carol is Chief Financial Officer at ValueMax Group Ltd. She has more than 30 years of experience in the field of corporate finance, finance and accounting and has served in senior management roles in various industries.
Carol is currently Chairperson of the Finance & Investment Committee. She has also served as Vice-Chairperson of YWCA Fort Canning Committee (2018-2021) and as a member of several committees.
Carol holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Finance from the University of Western Australia. She is a member of CPA Australia and a CFA® Charterholder.

Cheryl is a finance professional focusing on quantitative factor-based strategies in fixed income. In her current role as Quantitative Strategist with Lucror Analytics, an investment advisory firm, she is part of the pioneer team spearheading quantitative research, strategy and model development of the quantitative investments business. She is also a Board Director and Corporate Advisor at the firm.
Prior to this, Cheryl has more than 15 years consulting experience with leading consulting firms including McKinsey & Co, Roland Berger Management Consultants, Value Partners Management Consulting and IBM/PwC Consulting. She has advised and consulted for leading companies in the Telecommunications, High-Tech, Financial Services and FMCG on strategic and commercial topics ranging from corporate strategy to long-range planning, new market/technology strategy, commercial performance improvement and corporate finance/M&A.
Besides her Board appointment at YWCA, Cheryl currently serves as Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Management Committee. She has also previously served as Independent Director of a for-profit Telecoms Infrastructure company.
Cheryl holds a PhD in Finance from EDHEC Business School, an MBA from INSEAD, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, and a Chartered Valuation Analyst (CVA) Level 2 from IVAS-Nanyang Technological University.

Sharon is an Audit Partner at Ernst & Young, one of the largest global accounting firms, and has more than 16 years of experience with the firm. She is also a member of the Corporate Finance Committee of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
Sharon first joined YWCA in 2019 as a Member of the Finance & Investment Committee. In 2020, she was appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Finance & Investment Committee, a position which she continues to hold. In 2022, she was co-opted to the Board of Directors of YWCA and joined the YWCA Fort Canning Committee as a Member.
Sharon is a Chartered Accountant of ISCA, and a Certified Public Accountant of CPA Australia. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) degree from the University of Melbourne.

Janet is the Director of Women’s Ministry at the International Baptist Church of Singapore (IBC). Prior to this role, she was Director of Children’s Ministry at IBC from 2006 to 2018.
Before committing full-time to church ministry, Janet held leadership roles in Sales and Marketing across various organisations and industries, including United Engineers, Walt Disney, and Christian Dior.
With a strong passion for mission, she started “Projek AnaKawan” in 2008 and still manages it today. Directly translated as “projects reaching out to becoming a friend to the children”, the programme provides outreach to women and children in Indonesia.
Aside from her Board appointment at YWCA, Janet has served in numerous committees since 2006. Most notably, she has served as Chairperson in the Child Development Programme Committee and the Corporate Communications Committee, among others. She has also been representing YWCA at the National Council of Churches of Singapore since 2009.

Mrs Maureen Nguee has been an active volunteer of the YWCA since 2006, when she headed the Audit Committee and served on the Board of Management. Since then, she has remained on the Board and served in various committees, including as chairperson of the Nominations Committee (2010-2011; 2015-2018), Community Services & Programmes Committee (2019-2021), and Membership & Programmes Committee (2010-2012), among others.

Philomena is a Style Coach and the founder of Impressions Style Coaching, a company which helps individuals create their personal brands. She is also Executive Director of Image Mission Ltd, a charity that helps women secure employment to achieve economic independence.
Prior to her current role, Philomena has more than a decade of experience as a Brand and Marketing Professional in the hospitality industry. She was previously Vice President of Brand and Marketing at The Ascott Limited (2007-2017), overseeing all Ascott brands worldwide, and Director of Brand Marketing at Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts.

Ms Tan is a practising lawyer by profession and is currently Managing Partner at her own law firm, K L Tan & Associates, specialising in Intellectual Property law.
Ms Tan is an active volunteer who has given much of her time to the YWCA. In addition to her board appointments, she has taken up numerous leadership positions, serving as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson at numerous committees since 1980.
As President, she has led several impactful initiatives that have since remained as YWCA’s core programmes, such as Meals-on-Wheels, YWCA Kids’ Club (now known as Kids’ Weekday Care), and YWCA House. She was also instrumental in spearheading the setting up of the Integration Programme for Children with special needs at YWCA Preschool and oversaw the YWCA Hostel redevelopment project at Fort Canning. In addition, Ms Tan’s passion for weaving led her to found the YWCA Weaving Studio and YWCA Weaving Programme in 2019, which provides flexible employment opportunities for disadvantaged women.
Aside from volunteering with YWCA, Ms Tan also serves as Council Member of the Institute of Singapore Trade Mark Agents and Council Member of ASEAN Intellectual Property Association. Prior to this she was also Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Association of Women Lawyers (1980-1984) and was a Council member of the Girl Guides of Singapore assisting in the amendment of its Constitution.
Ms Tan also served as President of other organisations including Asian Patent Attorneys Association Singapore Group (2003-2006), the Licensing Executives Society of Singapore (2005-2006), and Asean Intellectual Property Association (2007-2008).
Ms Tan was conferred the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2005. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences and a Barrister-at-Law (London).

Janet is the Senior Regional Compensation & Benefits Advisor at Hilton International Asia Pacific Pte Ltd . She has extensive experience in Human Resources Management and has served in various regional leadership roles at major corporations including Deutsche Bank, DBS, and Chevron.
Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from the National University of Singapore as well as Diplomas in Investment and Personnel Management.

Ms Tsoi is a retired urban planner from the Urban Redevelopment Authority, Singapore.
In her 30 years of service to the YWCA, Ms Tsoi has held various positions on the Board and has been Chairperson of numerous committees. She also represented YWCA at the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations from 2010 to 2012.
During her 20-year tenure as chairman of the Fort Canning Lodge Committee (renamed the YWCA Fort Canning Committee in 2020), the Fort Canning Lodge cleared the development bank loan with its revenue and went on to become a major revenue centre to support our community services programmes.
Her leadership at the Building Committee was also instrumental to the success of two major renovation projects at YWCA Fort Canning, thereby keeping it up to date and enhancing its attractiveness to patrons.
Ms Tsoi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, a Master of Philosophy in Town Planning, and a Graduate Certificate in Counselling.
Dr Junny Ebenhaezer

Dr Junny Ebenhaezer has been serving as an Educator at International Community School Singapore since July 2020. She was Public Relations Manager of Maple Bear Singapore, a national network of 50 preschools, responsible for digital marketing, corporate communications and media relations. Prior to that, she held senior management roles in international education and vocational training sectors in Australia and Singapore.
With a passion for volunteering, Junny has been involved in numerous fundraising activities for not-for-profit organisations, including the setup of a strategic partnership generating a multi-year building fund for a church in Australia. She was also a pro-bono translator of a 240-page book published by one of Indonesia’s leading charities. The English translation was distributed later to the World Health Organisation delegates in Geneva.
Junny currently chairs the YWCA Preschool Child Development Committee and serves as a member of the Audit & Risk Management Committee.
She has a PhD in Education and a Masters of Education (Leadership and Management).

Angelena is the Chief People & Culture Officer at Lemmatree Group – a technology venture. She brings with her over 2 decades of HR experiences within the Financial Services industry where she held regional and global leadership positions with Deutsche Bank, Bloomberg and Standard Chartered Bank.
Angelena holds a Master in Organization Development and Leadership from the Fielding Graduate Institute in California in addition to her Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science (Honors) and Bachelor of Arts in Japanese and Chinese Studies from the National University of Singapore. She also completed an Executive Program in Human Resource Management from Stanford University in California as well as a Certificate in Brain-Coaching by the Neuroscience Leadership Institute.

Leung Yee Ping

Mrs Leung is the longest-serving Executive Director of the YWCA. As a Finance professional, she has worked with the Association since March 1997 when she first joined as a Finance Manager and Director of Operations before assuming the role of Executive Director in May 2006.
Having served the organisation for more than two decades, Mrs Leung has amassed a wealth of experience and knowledge about the various sectors of the YWCA- community services, hospitality, and early childhood education- and has become an expert in her field.
Under her leadership, she has overseen the implementation of many projects that were the first of their kinds, such as the Meals-on-Wheels for Children, YWCA Kids’ Club and YWCA House.
With a strong passion for outreach and social causes, Mrs Leung hopes that the YWCA will continue to identify more needs and existing service gaps so that it can continue to touch and transform lives and make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged in our community.
She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Singapore and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). Before joining the YWCA, she had worked with Price Waterhouse & Co, and Singapore Telecommunications Limited.
Ong Puay See

Ms Ong Puay See has close to 30 years of work experience in the financial industry and in not-for-profit institutions. She was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Institute of Banking & Finance for 6 years and also previously Director with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Prior to that, she was working in the Ministry of Finance and her work experience spans finance, business development, manpower training, public relations, corporate communications and social media engagement.
Puay See is an active volunteer with the Methodist Church in Singapore (MCS) and currently sits on the editorial and communications committees of MCS’ Chinese Annual Conference.
She has a degree in Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2014, for her contributions to the Singapore public service.
