About YWCA Childcare

Over the span of 140 years, the “Y” continues to grow from strength to strength and has not given up its role as a catalyst, whether it is in the area of educating women, providing child care facilities or community service. To ensure that the YWCA’s role and contribution to the community remains meaningful, we have expanded our community service work. The Association now runs ten Child Development Centres, including an integration programme for children with special needs to cater to the growing needs of our younger generation. YWCA has taken the great step forward and moved with the times, meeting the challenges required for the 21st Century. We are now a leading provider of quality and affordable childcare in Singapore.

We run many enrichment programmes to enhance the quality of our children’s learning experience.

“Each of us must come to care about everyone else’s children. We must recognize that the welfare of our children is intimately linked to the welfare of all other people’s children. After all, when one of our children needs life-saving surgery, someone else’s child will perform it. If one of our children is harmed by violence, someone else’s child will be responsible for the violent act. The good life for our own children can be secured only if a good life is also secured for all other people’s children.”
